Yukon Territory Maps

The Yukon is named after the Yukon River and is the smallest of Canada's territories. It is lightly populated territory with snow melted lakes and white cap mountains. The territory also possesses a large glacier fed river system which flows into the Yukon. An Arctic and Subarctic climate exists in the Yukon with long, very dry and cold winters. However, with long sunshine hours that the short summer season possesses allows for crops, vegetables and fruit to grow. The Yukon is also home to Canada's highest point and a World Heritage Site as Mount Logan can be found to the Southwest.
