Complete Canadian topographic map coverage of British Columbia at the scale of 1:250,000 & 1:50,000 These are Canadian raster digital topographic maps on DVD's. Maps have shaded relief added, most black & white maps have been coloured with shaded relief added. Package includes a full copy of Memory-Map Discoverer(normally a $75 value). Maps display 3D relief shading in suitable/available areas, mountain areas display much better due to greater elevation change. Maps can be displayed individually or merged together. Maps can be set up to print along canoe routes, roads or your trails. Print up to 13" x 19" on paper or GoTrekkers synthetic water resistant paper. Switch your cursor to display UTM, Latitude/Longitude or Legal Sub Division LSD (Alberta, Saskatchewan & NE BC only). Overlay Alberta or Manitoba 2007 WMU hunting zone outline on top of maps. See your route in an amazing 3D fly through in suitable areas. Can be used as secondary navigation for boating or flying with a go-to VOR-style arrow to your next waypoint. Allows you to upload/download routes, track & waypoints to & from most gps, laptops & pda's on windows operating systems, maps will not go into a gps. Canadian topographic maps vary in age. Export your map as a bitmap image. If you have more than one package you can merge individual maps from different packages, across borders or across UTM zones. Geocaching .gpx & .loc format download available. If you want to export/import .shp files or print to a large format plotter you must upgrade the Memory-Map Discoverer to a Memory-Map Professional. If you only have a B&W printer you may want the non shaded BC 50K package.
